John Mangen, Certified Appraiser

John Mangen has been appraising real estate since 2000, starting in Minnesota, and in 2003 transferred to Arizona. He has 23 years of appraisal experience in Arizona, including 16 in Tucson. As the founder of Oasis Appraisals, he is known for his dedication, integrity, and deep knowledge of the Greater Tucson market. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife of 38 years and their family, especially through hiking adventures and exploring God’s beautiful creation. One of his personal goals is to visit every U.S. National Park.

Brenda Mangen, Owner/Manager

John Mangen, Certified Appraiser

Brenda Mangen began her career in real estate appraisal in 1999 and worked as a Certified Appraiser until 2010. Over the years, she developed extensive experience in the appraisal industry before transitioning into the administrative and operational side of the business. Today, Brenda plays a key role in supporting both John and Jesse Mangen by coordinating office operations, client communication, scheduling, and business management for Oasis Appraisals. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellent service help keep the family business running smoothly.

Jesse Mangen, Licensed Appraiser

Jesse Mangen grew up around the family appraisal business and developed an early understanding of the industry through years of hands-on exposure. Today, he is a Licensed Appraiser who works closely alongside his parents in the family business, bringing a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and knowledge of the Greater Tucson market to every assignment. In his spare time, Jesse enjoys gaming, anime, and spending time with his fiancée, family, and friends.

Our expertise includes 2–4 unit multi-family properties, manufactured homes, custom homes, rural and acreage properties, and residences with unique features or non-traditional characteristics. We understand that specialized properties require careful market analysis, strong local market knowledge, and attention to detail to provide credible, well-supported valuation reports tailored to each assignment.
